This is my norm

I’m embarrassed to say that I have not yet wrote about my M.I.L’s first published book. She had it published just before Christmas and it is incredible. I laughed, cried, and learned more about the family that I have become a part of in the last year-and-a-half. The book is called Looking Back and Dreaming Forward. It isn’t a long book, and is well worth your time to read. It has inspirational tips for life as well as an understanding of key scriptures and her aspect of how they have played out in her life. A Must-Read!!!

We showed our house today!!! We are really hoping to sell soon so that we can get it over with. The people today seemed really really interested and they stayed for a really long time talking about the house! That’s exciting. We are trying not to get our hopes up, because so many people look at the house, and they all really like it, but no one has made any offers yet. So maybe this will be the one. 🙂

We went to see In Good Company at 2:40 and it was sold out! Amazing…on a Saturday! So we are going to the 5pm. I heard it is a really good movie so we’ll see. It was sold out all last night. So we saw Elektra…not too impressed. I mean not bad, but not impressive either. Anyway, so we went to Starbucks to kill some time, and that was fun. Then we came back and the realtor was here showing the house!!!

I am enjoying my weekend so far. Hope to continue and really enjoy my extra day off school.

Off to my movie now!!!

I love Friday’s. It just has a different feel to it than any other day. Seems like I get this burst of energy dispite my exhaustion from the week. I love it. My inner being shouts out….BRING ON THE WEEKEND!!! and this weekend even more so because we get a whole extra day to it. NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY!! When Kimberley Frazier was my youth pastor and music teacher we used to have NSOM parties (No School on Monday)….so fun. just a time to revel in the fact that you have no school. LOVE IT. Another benefit is that it subtracts the amount of days i must actually be in school!! Gotta love that for sure!

Its cold today…34 degrees this morning when I ran (for the third day in a row!!! WHOO HOO) but it wasn’t windy like yesterday so that was awesome. I loved it, it felt really good. And stretched my calves out alot. So hopefully by tomorrow they will be back to normal.

We watched the village the other day…pretty interesting movie. Its kind of long, but it has a really good story to it in the end.

Well didn’t have to go to Harker Heights after all. I just have too much stuff to do for school and I really need to get on it. This is my last semester…no goofing off room.

I got my new glasses today and boy do I notice a difference. Its great. I can read so much better and working on the computer does not result in a headache like usual. THANK YOU LORD FOR GLASSES!!

Well, I ‘m off to read my quest finally, and then some fun fun homework. And then maybe I’ll catch Without A Trace!

My calves are soooo sore today. I am going to run in the morning to stretch them out. Sheesh… they kill.

And I got another order…two in one day!!

Wow it is sooooo chilly outside today. I was sooo shocked. Its a beautiful day but freezing and windy. I was not properly dressed for my first class, and now I have to go run in the cold..brrrrrrrrrrrrr………

Last night we went to the SLC with Cary and Melissa . It was pretty fun…the guys played basketball and raquetball..and Melissa swam laps in the pool and I ran on the track. Then we watched the guys finish up their raquetball game. It was good exercise for all of us!

I got my first real order for Mary Kay yesterday!! I’m so excited. Now I can place my order and Melissa can become a senior consultant. YEAH MELISSA!

The pest control guy came this morning, thank the Lord, and put this neutralizer stuff in our house to take away the stink. He said it should kick in within a couple of days. In the meantime we have this spray to spray around the house to neutralize. I still smell it…I have a very sensitive nose. So I’m sick of it.

Tonight I am going to a ribbon cutting ceremony for First State Bank in Harker Hights. The joys of my job 🙂 At least I get paid!

I’m excited because it is only one more week until 90210 starts again. I love that show and they are rebroadcasting all the seasons starting next Friday. So it will be cool. I’m excited.

Well 1 hour till my run. I’m glad that is the only thing we have to do today. It is so cold and I do not want to be outside any longer than necessary.

Ok I think this smell is putting me in a bad mood. I did find someone that will come out and take the smell and the dead whatever it is away!!!!!! I am thrilled…I hate coming home to a stink.

I am sooooo exhausted today. I want to sleep……but I have to work. How sad 😦 I think I will sleep like a baby tonight. And then tomorrow I have to run my 1 1/2 mile run. I have to get some rest so I can actually stay awake for the run.

So, bj decided to switch the housing plan for the 9,997,864 time. Now we are going to buy a small house and live there until we have a baby or so, 2-3 years and then start working on building our family home. By that time I will be finished working for the start of my career and be able to stay home with the tot. I don’t really care where we live I just want to make a decision and stick to it for once. The good thing about it is that we are going to be able to live closer to my family and around the stores and mall and the world basically!! Not out on the lake by our lonesome. We will do that later in life after our chillins are bigger.

Well I am going to go rest for a few minutes before I go to work.

Yes its true, we definitely have something dead under the house. It smells so gross…it started yesterday morning and has steadily gotten worse and now better….so I don’t know what that means…maybe it went somewhere else to die.

I have tried to track someone down that will come and look under the house and get out whatever it is, but have had no luck. The terminator doesn’t do such a thing….I wouldn’t either if I was him, but I AM NOT GOING UNDER THE HOUSE IN SEARCH OF WHO KNOWS WHAT!!!!!

I hate it….I feel like throwing up at the smell.. At least you can’t smell it in the back of the house…I would be in a hotel by now if that were so. Please go away little stinky.

I found out that my class is the fun old school high school p.e. class!!! Whoo hoo….I’m glad. They just have to assess us in the beginning to make sure that we are placed with people of the same calibure of athleticity. (Is that a word??) Anyhoo….I hope I get in a group with athleticism…I would like to think I am still athletic in my old age 😦 I can’t believe I am coming up on my 4th year of being out of high school….BUT I AM GRADUTING FROM COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEEEEHAAAAWWWWWWWWW (am ah frum Texus er whut 🙂
