This is my norm

I got the blues….the back to school blues that is….it is so sad to come off of a wonderous week of fun and family and go back to SCHOOL! Its getting very hard to stay motivated. I hate it. I want it to be over with! Yesterday I had a test. Yuck. Hopefully I did good. Most of my classes I have pretty wrapped up, so it would take a huge bombing of something to make me not pass or something. The sad thing is I don’t even care what my GPA is I just want to get out. The good thing is I have a’s and b’s in every class so far, so I shouldn’t have any worries. I JUST WANT OUT!!!!!!!!

Last night we went to Melissa and Cary’s baby shower. It was a lot of fun and they got some cute stuff. I can’t believe their baby is almost here, and yet, it seems like yesterday that they told us they were pregnant. I hope our pregnancy passes that quickly. I love being pregnant, but I hate the waiting. I just want to play with the baby!!!!

Jared is coming to stay with us tonight until Saturday so that should be fun for BJ. I on the other hand am going to scout out the local baby registering spots for my upcoming shower in April. So exciting!!!

Well I must depart and prepare for another day at the dreaded school 😦

Well this was a great week. It was so busy and had so many different things going on but it was a pretty good week.

We arrived on Tuesday to look at a house that we had wanted to rent, but we couldn’t see it that day. So we got to BJ’s parents’ house to discover that his great grandmother was doing very bad and we all needed to go up and see her. So we did and it was very sad to have to see her in such a terrible state. She was talking alot though and was very aware of everyone so that was good. We thought that she may not make it through the night, but the next day she bounced back and was doing well again. I know that she is in God’s hands and he is going to allow her to live the rest of her life out peacefully and I pray without sickness.

Wednesday we got to go to the doctor to meet the assistant. She was great and I really liked her. I had gained a whole 2 1/2lbs since my first visit at 7 weeks, which is very normal so that was good to know that everything was on track and expanding.

Then we got to go look at the house. WE LOVED IT. It was perfect and we immediately filled out the lease papers and hoped that the lease would go through even though we didn’t want it for two months. That night we hung out with an old friend and his new wife at their new place. It was so fun to hang out with them and get to know them a little better. We ate homemade salsa at their place and then went out to dinner at this place called Fajita Jacks. It was pretty cool. They had mariachie’s and everything. BUT, the mariachi’s were very americanized. They wanted to sing more american songs then old classic spanish songs. It was hilarious. One guy was dressed up like Elvis and danced all around like him too. So funny!! Then we went back to the house and played Balderdash in which I made up a new word accidentally “Redorkish” ?? I just said it trying to combine, retarded, dorky and ridiculous. It was funny.

Then thursday I went down to my aunt’s house and did two MK facials. I have been doing a bunch this week and getting better at knowing about my products.

Friday we got the bummer news that someone else offered to rent the house this week instead of waiting, so we didn’t get it . Big bummer, but God has something better out their for us. Then we went shopping all day and throughout the day I realized that my stomach was starting to hang out of my t-shirt. How embarrassing…so we went to Ross and I got a maternity outfit. The pants are really cute, khaki capris and then a three quarter sleeved dress shirt. I felt so comfy in them. I am officially out of all normal fitting shirts and pants….time to bump it up a size. This baby is growing 🙂 That night we went to Jamie’s 25 bd party . It was great to see old friends and hang out.

Saturday Bj had to go back home, which was sad because he has two tests this week and had to come back for school, meaning he had to miss our first ultrasound . Very sad. I hung out with my mom all day and walked around the new mall area and it was a great girl time. We had a blast. Then the rain Blasted us. It was so cold and we had to walk in it–the water was up to my ankles and it was freezing. Luckily it stopped before it got up above the slab at the house. THat would have been disastrous.

Then Sunday was church and family lunch and then TODAY was here finally!!!! The ultrasound. I can’t even describe how awesome it was to see the little one for the first time. And hear the heartbeat. I loved it. We oooh’ed and ahhhed alot. And there was only one little baby in there!! It must have been sleeping because it didn’t move around until right at the end we were about to wrap up the ultrasound and it kicked its little leg and rolled over and stretched. I freaked out. It was so amazing to see it, much less see it move!!! I’ve got some pictures to put on here later on. And they moved my due date up one day!! Whoo hoo….I’m just glad it wasn’t moved back! So I am due October 1. The day of the race for the cure 🙂

well i am in aw of my baby . I can’t wait to find out what it is and see it again!! Oh, and I gained another pound!! 3 total so far!!!

Allie–my mom told me you read my blog 🙂 And that you wanted me to send you something or tell you something on here? But! she couldn’t remember what the something was 😉 So just let me know and I’ll send it or tell you !!

Can’t wait to see you and your little one soon. We are looking forward to watching her next month.

11 Weeks today!!!! YEAH!! I can’t believe this is the last week of my first trimester. That just amazes me to think that I am almost 1/3 of the way finished. Whoo hoooooo!!! I can’t wait.

Today we helped some of our friends move and I am pooped. We have been working since 9:30, well I have, the others were working since 8. I hate moving….its so much work…and it made me dread my upcoming move. The only good thing about moving that I LOVE is that you get to clean out everything, re-organize, and get rid of junk that you don’t need. Plus I will be moving back home this move so that is a good thing. But sad to leave our home hear that we have set up and our little life and our friends that we love so dearly.

Ahhh….I’m tired. I am cooking lasagna for us and some friends tonight. YUM…lasagna is like my all time favorite meal ever. I love it!! Its my mom’s recipe and its so good. Yum yum…i can’t wait. If I can just get energy up to do it 🙂

Well what a wonderful Saturday it has been . I love saturday’s that feel like saturdays. You know when you get tons of stuff done and you work hard and its just a great feeling. It feels Right. I know it sounds wierd, but its true.

Anyway, I am off to lasagna time!

Melissa!!! FEEL BETTER!!

I am on spring break now…even though I am working. I have had a bunch of MK orders today so I am happy!! And after today I am off school and work for a whole week!!! YEAH!!

And we get to see the baby in 10 days on the ultrasound. YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!

I am about to go to my last class before spring break!!! YEAH!!!!! ONE HOUR and 28 Minutes!!!
I had a great day with Mary Kay yesterday. I did my first facial and it went so good. I had a big sale and got me really excited. Now if I could just schedule two or three of these a week I would be all set. Any one need a facial?? 🙂

Well this morning I did a funny thing, But it worked out for the best. I woke us up like usual. On Tuesday’s and Thursday’s we get up around 8:15. Its so great to sleep in a little 🙂 Well this morning we were so tired and I kept hitting snooze. Well at 8:40 I realized and was like BJ we have to get up and hurry. So we are hurrying around getting ready….we have class at 9:30..so I go to turn my computer on and it says 8:00???? I was so confused. Then I remember that I had set the clock to the wrong time yesterday to take a picture of it for class. Then I didn’t set it back to the right hour. But just set the alarm for this morning. Well, luckily I set it back and not forward because BJ has a test this morning. So he was able to study for a whole extra hour due to my goof up. It was sort of funny though. But nice to know that we didn’t have to rush.

Well yesterday I embarrassed myself. The thing is probably no one really cared but I was embarrassed FOR myself, and here’s why…

well as many of you know, I love softball…played it forever since I was 10 or so and played through high school. My brother played baseball and I know the game pretty well to say the least. Well yesterday in my college P.E. class we got to go outside and play kick ball since it was a b.e.a. utiful day!!! So…there I am in the outfield and this guy kicks this really high ball into the air. Now mind you, the ball is not the normal kick ball size, its more like the size of the balls you can stretch on and do pilates with. Right, so its really bouncy and huge, and coming straight for me….so I put my arms up in the air thinking, there is no way I am going to be able to hold on to this ball when it hits me…..well somehow I did…and I let out a scream when I did because I was so excited. WHAT A DORK…I had to have looked like the girliest girl alive. No one really did anything…but I was embarrassed….I couldn’t believe I had just squeeled with delight for catching a ball. Ok so its been awhile since I have participated in competitive sporting events… I just had to get it out of my system. HA…..now on to the embarrassing part. Yeah, that wasn’t it…..

So I’m standing in line waiting to “bat” or kick, and one of my teammates kicks the ball and runs to first base and runs through the base since he was running so fast. Well me and all my baseball/softball knowledge turn to the guys behind me and say…”haha…he ran through first base, I can’t believe they didn’t tag him out” Again….WHAT!!! What am I thinking, of course you can run through first base without getting out. ” I quickly turned back around and said, “oh yeah, you can run through first base.” How embarrassing. To them I was just a dumb girl that didn’t know a thing about sports….well how sad that I supposedly do.

I told BJ what I did, and he definitely laughed at me ….what an I say.. Its this pregnant brain…its playing tricks on me!!!

Wow, I just looked at my baby ticker and can’t believe how the weeks are passing by so quickly. It seems like just yesterday that I came in and told BJ the news 🙂 And here we are almost at the end of the first trimester! Wow!

I remember when some friends of ours told us they were pregnant and they were 10 weeks, and now they have found out what they are having and are due in a few months. I can’t wait to know what we are having. We’ve been trying to think of names that we like, but haven’t gotten real serious about it yet.

I don’t have my first class today, because it is lab and I don’t have to go because I haven’t shot my pictures yet, so I can’t really develop what I don’t have. I like to go up to the lab at night though, because it isn’t crowded and I can take my time on my pictures. But not having to go to class is always nice. I wish I had that option in every class 🙂

The weather is gorgeous today and was yesterday too. It is hot, but there is a breeze in the air so it isn’t scorching. I love this time of the year. Bj cut the grass this weekend , and all the grass is green again, so it smelled so great. Spring is in the air! I love it.
