This is my norm

If I am absent this week, you will be reminded to pray for me. These next few weeks are going to be hard core!!! I am almost terrified to think we only have 4 weeks of school left and I have so many projects to do in that time !!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!! Its not even an issue of procrastination, its more of keeping my head above water to get each thing turned in on its deadline! So if you check my blog and there are no entries or even if there are…just remember to pray for me to have brain power 🙂

This weekend was fast. We went home, bj was sick the whole time still so he felt bad. But I shot pictures the whole weekend. Which may sound fun, but also is very hard and stressful, knowing that 20% of my grade rests on these pictures. That is scary. I want to keep my A!!! But Lacey’s wedding was beautiful and it was good to see her again.

Then we came home last night to find out that our LADY BEARS WON THEIR GAME LAST NIGHT!!! Whoo hooo!!! We put the whoop on LSU! That is so cool. So now we are in the finals tomorrow against Michigan state. I know we can win!! I just hope the girls are not exhausted.
THis is so cool that they have made it so far.

Well I must leave now and face my grueling week ahead of me 😦 So long!!!!

What a day…it is so beautiful outside but very windy so its pretty chilly. I don’t have class on Friday’s anymore, which I LOVE! So today after bj got out of class we wanted to go out for a good breakfast. So we went over to IHOP, IT WAS PACKED OUT. I was amazed. It was like 10:30 and there were tons of people there. So we decided to go to Denny’s instead. It was even more packed. So, we drove all the way across town to Kettle. HA! There were like 5 people there. We were a little worried at first because we have never eaten there before. So we wondered if the reason there were only 5 people was because it was gross or something. Well, turned out ok. The eggs were a little runny, but everything else was fine. So we got our breakfast.

Now BJ is taking a nap while I finish up the laundry and then off to The Woodlands we go. Last night we rented Shall we Dance. It was a little slow, but clean and romantic. I liked it. Bj just laughed.

PS I just wanted to give a shout out to the Baylor Girls Basketball team for making it to the Final Four!!!!!!!!!!! Whooo hoooo!!!!!!!! Sunday is going to be a hard game against LSU, but I am just so happy that they hav emade it this far. For the first time ever as well!!!!

Finally I am finished with defensive driving. I did it at Onlinedefensivedriving.com . If anyone reading this ever needs to take defensive driving. I can give you a discount code that they gave me for using them. It was really easy and alot less of a waste of time than going to a 6 hour long class.

Anyway, on to enjoy my weekend!!!!

Well Bj is feeling a little better today. He hasn’t thrown up anymore, so that is a relief. But he stayed in from school today. He slept in the guest room last night since he was sick and I don’t want to get sick since I am pregnant, and can’t take alot of medications. So poor Hoobie was so confused. He layed with BJ for a while then he came in and layed with me, then he just layed on the floor in between the two rooms. 🙂 He ended up sleeping with BJ most of the night. The bed is lower in there and easier for him to jump onto. Our bed has two mattresses and a box spring, so its pretty hard for him to jump on, especially in the dark!

I am working on my defensive driving online. YUCK!! I still have 125 minutes left. Its taking forever! Then tomorrow we are going home because I have to shoot pictures of Lacey before her wedding and all that fun stuff for my photo story. I’m hoping they come out good, because I am coming down to the wire on the project. It is due next Friday, developed, printed and mounted!!!! That’s alot of work for me this week.

Well Back to defensive driving 😦 Why oh why did I get that ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must say I am saddened that one of my favorite shows, Newlyweds, has come to an end after tonights episode. I have watched it for two years….the two years of my own newlywed bliss and yet, it is ending. Not my newlywed bliss, just the show. I guess I am not technically a newlywed anymore once I become a parent, I am just a parent and wife. So I will enjoy these last 5 1/2 months of newlywedness.

Bj is very sick. I came home from work to a sick sick husband. I think he has the stomach flu. I feel so bad for him. He has never been this sick since I have known him. I have never seen or heard him having to throw up at all. And boy is he sick. He may have to go to the doctor tomorrow if it is lingering. Please pray for him to feel better soon. He does not have time to be sick like this so close to finals.

Well I must go tend to my invilid. Poor thing!

My sweet friends are throwing us a shower in two weeks so because of that yesterday I registered for baby stuff at BabysRus! It was so fun to look at all the baby things and think about what our nursery will look like one day!! We are so excited. I can’t wait to know what we are having so that I can register for the girly/masculine items like bedding and decor.

Easter was nice…different, because we weren’t at Granny’s for lunch. Boy I sure missed that potato salad and deviled eggs. But it was nice to spend time just the two of us. Because from here till graduation, its going to be a whirlwind. I can’t believe how fast it is coming around the corner, which means the dreaded finals are too. Yuck!! Why must we have finals. They are such a downer amidst all your end of the semester excitement. Oh well….life isn’t perfect.

Wow, I can’t believe here I am 13 weeks pregnant. That is almost halfway finished!!! 7 more weeks until the halfway point and until graduation!!!!!!!! That is amazing. Though this semester has seemed very long. I am just having a very bad case of senioritis.

Well today, though it is a holiday, I am working. The good thing was that we had steak and shrimp and veggies and salad and banana pudding (with no bananas on one side for me and Gwynn). I’ll come to work any day for steaks!! Yum Yum!! Oh and baked potatos too. So now I am waiting. Just waiting to do a run or go home. 🙂

Tomorrow I am going to register for some gender neutral basic items for the baby. My friends are throwing me a shower in about 3 weeks so that is going to be so fun. I am excited. Then I am babysitting tomorrow evening. Gotta get as much practice in as possible 🙂

Jared is here for the weekend, and I know BJ enjoys that. THey have been playing basketball in the driveway all morning. Last night me and Bj went out to shoot some hoops and it was getting dark and so the light was really playing tricks on my eyes. Well we had the goal down low so I could “dunk” and I shot it and it bounced off the rim really hard and smacked me in the lip. Hurt like crazy, but it was more hilarious than anything. So today my lip is a little puffy inside but nothing major.

I hope everyone enjoys their Easter holiday. Next year we’ll have a brand new hunter for the easter egg hunt!!

Two more days off school!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though I am loving the time off I don’t think it is good for my blues. It just makes me want to be out even more 🙂
