This is my norm

Well as I look back on my blog to the day of Jan. 24…I am sticking my big foot in my mouth about that last paragraph….to all of you who had the right instinct….though it could have just been a coincidence that I was sick that week…….We have an annoucement to make!!!

So we couldn’t wait to share the news with everyone and so now that the new grandparents know…THE SECRET IS OUT!!!!!!!!!!



Baby Munson is on its way!!!!!!

Well turns out that the reason for the backed up plumbing is non other than the City of Waco’s fault. They rolled over the line in the front yard and cracked it. How nice of them. So now we are waiting for them to come out and fix the pipes. I’m so glad that our house didn’t flood or something thanks to them.

Anyway, we’re off to the good ole land of home sweet home…..see ya!

Well last night we came home to our toilets bubbling and our bathtubs filled with the water we were washing our clothes in. BUMMER! So we had to get a plumber out here this morning to flush the entire system. It cost almost $200!!!! Isn’t that crazy!!!! I guess I probably shouldn’t have flushed Hoobie down the toilet before we left 🙂

Anyway, we are going home this weekend, and so glad! Its been over a month since we have seen our families so we are excited. 😉

Well I have officially made my first set of print pictures the old fashioned, developed in a dark room way. It is really cool, especially since my pictures were shot on Black/White film. Its definitely more forgiving.

I will post some of them later. I had to turn the best ones in today, but I will get them back. Fun stuff, learning a new trade!

Its been really cold up here and windy and rainey. GROSS…especially for walking around campus in. I hate it. I’m ready for it to be spring weather. BEAUTIFUL!

Well this weekend we are going in for my dad’s celebration service in their new building. Its going to be very exciting and we are glad to be a part. Then we will come back for our Lifegroup Super bowl party. I know, its very spiritual 🙂

WEll I am off to my HP class which has become fun. We play knock out alot…and I actually haven’t gotten that bad in my 4 years of no basketball. Its quite fun!

I just wanted to post and let you all know that I am still alive…doing well and not falling off the face of the earth. Life has been extremely crazy this last week and I haven’t had much of a chance to jump on here. So hello to all my peeps 🙂

Also today marks the 5 year anniversary of mine and Bj’s relationship. Isn’t that cool. 5 whole years!!! Its been so fun. Anywhoooo, have a great day in the Lord and I hope to talk with all of you soon!!

Well I am back and feeling great. This doesn’t even feel like a normal Monday. I hate Monday’s but today, though it still wasn’t easy to get up, I was on time to school, I felt great and I made it through the day without even feeling tired once!

So for those of you who have wondered what in the world happened to me, I have been sick. I just thought I’d recap the week real quick for those of you who care! 🙂 And yes Deb, your instincts were right, I was sick. I thought about getting on here several times, but I just didn’t have any writer’s juice. No umpfh.

So…..I’ll start from the beginning….Monday, I went to my Mary Kay Star Awards banquet with my hubby…what a sport! It was alot like the LCS awards banquets 😉 But! THe food was really good. It was at the Elite Cafe and we had Chicken fried steak , green beans, and mashed potatos. SOOOO GOOD. Better than it sounds. MMMMmmmmmmmm MMmmmmmm……

Then Tuesday, we went over to Court and Tim’s for pizza and the kickoff of American Idol. We had some laughs and a good time with everyone. This is the day that I started feeling queezy after lunch. But I thought I just ate too much or something. So after dinner that night, we got home and my stomach went wild on me. I tossed and turned all night…it was rough.

Wednesday morning, I got sick, stayed home from school all day and then started running fever. That’s what really took my energy out of me. BJ and Hoobie took good care of me though. Such sweeties…Hoobie stayed in bed with me all day. It was a rough life for him I know 🙂 I didn’t go to work and just tried to beat the sickness as fast as possible. This early in the semester I do not have time to be sick…but it seems that every spring semester something goes wrong…last year it was bronchitis. What is the deal????

Thursday, I felt sooo much better. I went to school, took it easy, and then came home. Felt fine, started eating again, and thought it was over. But I think I overdid it, even though I tried not to.

Friday, still feeling ok..a little tired and wiped out but ok, went back to work. This is when it hit again, and I paid for it all night and Saturday morning, I woke up in tears because I was so nauseated. Ridiculous!! So, BJ took me to the doctor at Baylor on Saturday morning, and they told me that there was a bad stomach flu going around. They gave me some pills to help with the nausea and I went home to sleep off the remainder of my illness.

Sunday I stayed in and rested up some more. Felt a little better and by Sunday night I felt like a new woman.

Today I FEEL SOO GREAT!!!!! WHOOO HOOO!!! I AM HEALED. And by the way for all those who were wondering, and if you weren’t thinking it you were the only one it seems, but I am NOT pregnant!!!! THanks for asking though. Wow, I had a lot of calls, even my own husband asked. THAT is a stretch right there! But no, the verdict is in and its false. But thanks for checking.

I hope that is the last of the illness for the year. I feel like I’ve had it for a year.

Well this has been, like the title says, a less than glorious week. Week two of my last semester of school, ready to hit it strong, and I get hit strong with a stomach virus. Out of school for two whole days. Ridiculous. This may sound gross, but I can actually handle an occassional barf session, but its when the fever set in that wiped me out. So I have been laying around watching tv and doing nothing. Sad thing its the second week of school , so I’m not even overwhelmed yet or anything. I don’t need two days off of school. I needed to save those absences for when I really am about to die of stress or overwhelmingness. Oh well…I’m feeling better now, I’m still working up to solid foods again.

Yesterday I ate Clay Pot for lunch. It was really good, and actually all their foods are supposed to promote wellness and improved immunities. And its quite tastey. Perfect for my first real meal again. 🙂

No plans for the weekend…just taking it easy..trying not to have a relapse. Have alot of homework to catch up on . That is the worst part about being sick…you still have tons of work staring you in the face. I think I ‘m feeling sick just thinking of it.

Well here are some new pictures of my little family! Isn’t Hoobie too cute 🙂 Tonight is the kick-off of American Idol and we are having a bash at a friend’s house. We’re really not that nerdy, but we do like AI. 🙂 Sad thing is that we will have to miss wheel of fortune…I know I know…maybe we are nerdy…its so fun though!! I even applied to be on wheel because they are auditioning the Big 12 colleges right now, and that is us!!! Whoo hoo…I would love it if I got picked.
