This is my norm

On Saturday we signed the contract for the sell of our home. So it is official. Now we just need to pray that the people do not back out for any reason. I really don’t foresee that they will, but you just never know. We close on April 15 and then it will be final. So I can’t wait for then.

So we are now on the hunt for a home of our own. We are planning on finalizing where we are going to live over spring break. Which is in three weeks, so I am very excited about finding a new home. It will be the home for our first little baby. That is so exciting.

Ok yesterday I had a funny experience. We went to IHOP for lunch and I like the spaghetti at IHOP. Well, yesterday I was feeling pretty nauseated and wasn’t really up for eating too many things, so I was scanning the menu and couldn’t decide between breakfast or dinner….so the lady came to take our order I asked for spaghetti and a side of hash browns. If you could have seen her face…it was soooooooo funny. She did a double take at me and said, “hash browns????” I then told her that I was pregnant and she cracked up laughing. She said that had crossed her mind but she didn’t want to ask. She said she was hoping that was the case because if not that was just strange. Hee hee….well anyway she brought me an extra order at no cost 🙂 The joys of food while your pregnant. It was a yummy meal 🙂

YEAH!!! PRAISE THE LORD– we got contract put down on our house!!!!!! Yesterday some people looked at our house and loved it and immediately went into negotiations with the realtor!! This is so great. We have already accepted their offer and so now they are just negotiating terms. WHOO HOO!!! I am so excited. We were really starting to get worried that we were going to have to put it up for lease, which is a big pain, because you never know what kind of renters you are going to get, etc. It just wasn’t the route we wanted to take. But God always pulls through right when you are at your wits end. Now we can figure out what we are going to do after graduation as far as rent or buy, or buy new or buy used…..and be settled for when the baby arrives in the fall!!! I’m sooo excited.

Well today, I put on a pair of jeans and “uh oh” couldn’t button them. My book tells me that my uterus is the size of a grapefruit this week??? That’s it!! It feels like a watermelon!! IT also tells me that this week the little ears are growing internally and externally so we can talk to the baby and it will hear us!! How exciting.

So everyone has been asking me if I’ve been having cravings…..the only thing I can pin point as a constant craving is MILK!!! I have been drinking it like crazy. We went through a whole gallon in a week which is like a record for us. So last night BJ brought home 2 gallons 🙂 What can I say…I love milk!!!

Oh and another thing is I have been craving BarBQue Chips?? Those are the two main ones…everything else is pretty normal.

Well tomorrow we are going to SING with Melissa!! Its going to be so fun. Now for those of you that don’t know I don’t me we are singing with her I mean we are going to this big production that the sororities and fraternities at Baylor put on every year, very similar to a broadway show. Its a big deal and they do a really good job. So we are going as it will be the last time we attend SING as undergrads. We are excited.

And this year we are going to hear our good friend Tara sing her solo in her ZTA production. GO TARA!!!

Well today I spent at least 2 hours on the phone looking for a new doctor. I had one that I wanted to go to, but they are not on my plan, so finally I found some that were on my plan and either they weren’t accepting new patients, didn’t deliver in The Woodlands or some other reason for me to not be able to get an appointment EVER!!! UGH…I was to the point of utter frustration and sadness and my usual attitude would have just been upset or mad, but with pregnancy added to it, I am just a ball of emotion. SO I felt like breaking down crying. I felt helpless and then a miracle happened and I accidentally called back a doctor I had already called and they told me the first time they weren’t accepting new patients, but the second time I called they said they were. WHOOO HOOO!!!!!! I have a doctor for my baby!

So now I have my next appointment set up and I will get to see the little one 🙂 I can’t wait. I will be in the last week of my first trimester which is exciting because the babe will actually look like a human 🙂 I’m excited.

So four weeks till we get to meet our little one!

We’ll we are back from the dr and it was so exciting. Everything is healthy and checking out fine so far, and I’m definitely preggers.

My due date is still what I had thought it was October 2, though I was secretly hoping it would get moved up to September 🙂 Anyway, they were going to let me have an ultrasound which I was super excited about but since we are moving and this was going to be my only appt. with this doctor it was going to cost a ton of money and we would have to pay for it today. So I sadly declined the ultrasound. But I will go to my new doctor in 4 weeks, so then I will get to see the little one 🙂

What an exciting day!!

Yesterday was a good day. I came home from work to my husband that had made dinner for me. He bought me The Notebook and Ray for V-day. So we watched The Notebook and I cried just like I did the first time I saw it. Its such a great story. I hope that one day our love can be that strong 🙂

So today I don’t have to go to my first class!!! Yippee!! Then I have a second class and then we get to go to the doctor!!!!!! YEAH!!! Seems like we have been waiting forever. I’m excited that we get to make sure everything is ok with the little kiddo and find out when he/she will be arriving approximately. And maybe we’ll get lucky and get to see the heartbeat 🙂

Well this weekend was great. We went to World Mandate for our church all weekend. It is a missions emphasis conference that our church hosts every year. It was great. We both got sooooo much out of the services and really enjoyed ourselves.

This is week 7 of the pregnancy. We read the chapter for the week for what would be happening this week for baby! It was so cool. This week the arm buds and leg buds are visable 🙂 Such a cute little bean in there 🙂 I think it sort of resembles a little shrimp.

This Tuesday is my first appointment and I ‘m so excited to finally get to go. Bj is going with me and is really excited as well. He is sooooo excited about this baby. He refers to it as “baby Boardman” even if it is a girl…hee hee…fun fun.

I also have my first test this week..yuck!!! This semester is not going as fast as I would like it to. But it will be over soon enough.

Last night we saw Hitch. It was really cute and pretty funny too. Nice romantic movie to kick off Valentines weekend.

I’m having a non-eventful day really. Went to school, out to eat with hubby (to one of my favorites Souper Salad!!) and now here at work. I’m covering the front desk for now while Victoria takes her lunch break. Ho hum…….

Wow, what a week. I feel like I have finally caught up with everything I was behind on from being sick and then finding out about the little babe. Its been a whirlwind! I got my first photo project back and got an A!! whoo hoo. I didn’t even think the pics were that great, but I guess they were good enough for the first try.

This weekend is World Mandate and though I have attended Antioch for three years now, this is the first time we have gone. We are looking forward to it.

I got my first two maternity shirts this week. They are so cute, and I can’t wait to wear them. I also bought this really cute onesie for the tot. It was too cute to pass up. It has the number 22 on the front which is a very significant number being that that was BJ’s number in all his sports in high school AND we are both 22 right now. So I got it. Baby clothes are soooo fun. Deb gave me a yellow night gown for the baby that says mommy and me on it. 🙂 Can’t wait till there’s a little sweet smelling baby to put into the clothes.
