We have a moving date!!!!!!!!!!

Well the house is just about finished….they have some touching up on the paint to do this week, get the house exterminated, lay the carpet and voila! We are moving on Saturday!!! I am so excited. The house has really taken a face lift. It is amazing how different it looks. Still very rustic, but livable 🙂 So if anyone is interested in helping move we are providing steaks and baked potatos afterward 🙂 YUM YUM!!!

I am now officially 6 months pregnant according to counting by weeks.
24 weeks=6months 🙂 Wow!!! Just a little longer to go and we’ll have a little princess on our hands. I am so excited.

I found out this weekend that we are having 2 more showers as well as one more that I already knew about. God is so wonderful to allow us to have such wonderful people in our lives. We are so incredibly blessed. So this week I registered for a few things at Target, because the babies rus is sort of far for our friends in Willis. I love picking out all the cute things for our little daughter. I am so excited about meeting her in just a few short months. Although I’ve been pregnant now for a while it still amazes me that we are actually having a real baby. I know it sounds silly but its true. It is truly a miracle, the gift of life and the process of life. I am amazed!!

Well, so many things to do today!!! Love you all and talk to you later!

First set of pictures of the house before any renovations

Wow, last night the little miss was beating me up in there. I had to check for stretch marks this morning. Wowee…I was actually sore from it. SHe’s getting bigger and strong, which is a good thing, but wow, she has a hard kick!

I am trying to post some pictures of the house so you can all see how it is being transformed, but I haven’t got them all on the computer yet, so bear with me. These are the first few of before we even got to see it while the previous owners were in it. Pretty dark and dungeon-y.

This is in the living room…they are leaving the tv, which is cool..except ours looks exactly like it. Anyone want to buy a tv???

The Mommy Test

Subject: The Mommy Test

I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter.
She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her
mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that.
“Why?” my daughter asked. “Because it’s been laying outside, you don’t
know where it’s been , it’s dirty and probably has germs,” I replied.
At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and
asked, “Wow! How do you know all this stuff?” “Uh,” … I was thinking
quickly, “all moms know this stuff. It’s on the Mommy Test. You have
to know it, or they don’t let you be a Mommy.” We walked along in
silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new
information. “OH… I get it!” she beamed. “So if you don’t pass the
test you have to be the daddy.” “Exactly,” I replied back with a big
smile on my face and joy in my heart.

When you’re finished laughing, send this to a Mom.

WOW!

All I can say is wow!! I can’t wait to be that size again 🙂 I feel like my body has become one other than my own. Now don’t get me wrong I love being pregnant, but WOWEEE!!!!
The first pic was me at 5 weeks and now me at 23 weeks. Go go Gadget Belly!

The painting has begun

Well yesterday the lady started painting the house and boy what a difference it makes already. It brightens up the rooms so much. The house has dark wood paneling on the inside and it is so gloomy and dark, so we are lightening it up with a lighter cream color. I am so excited that they were able to start painting already. So we might be able to get into the house by next weekend. Whoo hoo!! I am excited. Today I am going to pick out three new fans and formica for the kitchen back splash. Then Monday or Tuesday I am going to pick out new carpet. So everything is on the move. Yipee!!

The baby’s name will be…………………

Its a secret 🙂 Lots of people have been asking and so I just wanted to make a formal comment that we will be keeping the name a secret until the birth. From everyone, yes, even our moms. 🙂 To tell you the truth we don’t totally have a solidified name yet. We have a real strong possibility but we just haven’t agreed that that would be the name for sure. So!!! Sorry to not put your minds at ease! Baby Munson will remain secretly nameless until her arrival.

4 months to go and boy is it closing in on me

Wow! Moving is such a hassle. Yuck. So many forms to change addresses, and people to notify and man, just the amount of time it takes to get an address changed over the phone wastes away my whole day! Argh!! The good thing is that today it finally was sunny outside so I went swimming!! It felt great. I loved it and so did baby girl. She was just kicking away in there. Probably swimming 🙂

We went over to our new house last night because I had gone to pick out paint for the rooms and we wanted to walk throught the house again. Well this time there were flees from the dogs that lived there before!! GROSSS!!!!!!!!!!! I got bites on my feet. So Bj had to go back over and set off some bug bombs so the people that are working on the house won’t get eaten alive, then we are having the house sprayed once it is done. I hate flees and I do not want them eating my little Hoobie to death. But the good thing is that the paint colors I picked out are going to be really nice. I am especially excited about the nursery!!!! It is going to be so cute. She gets the biggest room upstairs and her own bathroom 🙂 WHAT A PRINCESS 🙂 I can’t wait to fix everything up and have that stress off me, because suddenly I am feeling very pressed for time. 4 months from today and baby girl will be here, if not before.

Well its shutting down time for the boys, so I will sign off! I love this new 8-5 schedule. NO Homework is so awesome!!!!!!!!!

A sad farewell, but not a goodbye!

Last night our lifegroup threw us a wonderful shower. We had great food thanks to the Hess’, a yummy pink cake thanks to the Yocum’s and all of our friends joined us for and a wonderful time of celebration of our baby girl. We also all got to meet Carson and he was a cutie. I’ll have to post pictures of all the cute things we got as soon as we get settled.

I may be MIA for a few days because we are moving tomorrow. we actually have no internet in our house right now and had to come up to the school to check our emails and get online. So if you need me you will have to call my new cell phone number.

We are sad to leave our first home together in Waco, but excited about the new things that are in store for us in the future. Pray with us that everything would go smoothly on the new house and we would be able to move in quickly. We will be living with bj’s family for a couple of weeks while we fix up our new place!

All of you Wacoans better stay in touch and all you Conroe-ites/Woodlanders here we come!!!!
