This is my norm

Well yesterday was a pretty rough day. I have to say that this pregnancy has been so wonderful, but these last couple of weeks have been misery. Plus bj and I are both fighting off sinus colds and that is lousy on top of being uncomfortable all the time.

But there is hope 🙂 TODAY IS THURSDAY and you know what that means 🙂 DOCTOR DAY!!!! Bj is getting to go with me so that is fun, because he has only got to go to 3 appts. this whole time. He is excited to get to go.

Last night I packed my bag for the hospital, though I know I will be grabbing things as we are running out the door 🙂 Oh well, I try to prepare!

Also here is an updated photo of me…..I have gotten so big….and last night to my dismay I spotted tons of stretchmarks….NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I had absolutely no more room to spare. How sad 😦

Hopefully it will be the last weekly pic I take….I would love to be in labor any day now 🙂

Well I am still pregnant…in case you thought I wasn’t 🙂 Last night I had 4 “maybe” contractions. I don’t know if they were actual ones or not….they just felt different than anything before. So I called my mom and deb and we analyzed them together. It was kind of cool, but no real action. Oh well….one day soon I will be in real labor. I can’t wait!!!

Just wanted to update, we had a good weekend. Went and saw Brothers Grim. I thought it was boring and then we had lunch with the family as usual on Sunday. I did some Mary Kay facials and had a party and then tonight I have another one. Praying for big sales!! I have a big September goal and I am trying to get it in before the baby comes.

Well everyone have a nice week. Its almost half-way over already 🙂

Yippppeeeeee…..we are down to the less than 30 days stage. How exciting!!!!! I am on pins and needles wondering when this little one is going to make her grand entrance. Oh we can’t wait.

Well last night we went out and had to get new cell phones….so we got matching ones. We are so cheesy. I actually wanted a different color but they didn’t have it in the store. But they are pretty cool phones. Then we went and ate Chinese food at my favorite place 🙂 yummy, I had a huge bowl of Wonton with a side eggroll and fried rice. Oh Yummy!!!!

Then we came home and watched Monstor in Law , which I was not particularly interested in seeing, but it turned out to be really cute and funny.

I have to do a Mary Kay party today at 1 so I have to get moving. I have a full schedule this weekend 🙂 Keeps me busy from sitting and analyzing every twinge and pain.

to less than 1 cm….hahah….oh the progress I have made 🙂 Oh well, progress is progress, so that means something is progressing. THe dr said she felt the head down still so that is great! I’m just glad I had dialated a teeny weenie bit instead of none at all. That would have been depressing….so we’ll see how quickly these last few weeks go. Next Friday I will be full term!!! This is so exciting. I have to finish up everything and clean my house so I’m ready for her!

Just wanted you to all know that I also have a very restful night of sleep 🙂

Last night we rented Sahara…it was pretty good, and actually had several funny parts in it. I liked it overall.

Yeah…the ticker has finally reached the last block!!! She will be “heading out” so soon!! How exciting. Tomorrow is my dr appt!! I am looking forward to it, even if I haven’t made progress it will still be exciting to go and hear her heartbeat!

Last night was rough….I was up for 4 hours with indigestion…even Tums didn’t help. So from 2-6 I was up crossstitching and trying to make myself fall asleep. Didn’t work. I finally fell asleep at about 6:15 as bj was getting up for work. So I’m pretty tired today. I have tried to rest some, but I can’t fall asleep. We have some remodeling still going on at our house and so its hard to get any sleep with all that going on.

Anyway, my mom and dad will be back today so that is relieving to know, in case I should ever go into labor. But who knows when the little miss will arrive 🙂 I’ve asked her but I just can’t make out what she says??? 🙂

Well have a great Wednesday everyone!

Well this weekend I was busy busy busy. BJ was playing at a youth conference on Sunday so they had practice on Friday night and I went to Babies R Us to exchange a few things and pick up some last minute things that we still needed. It was fun and relaxing to just walk around and get whatever I needed. So then on Saturday morning I had to wake up at 7 to be ready to be picked up for a wedding shower for a cousin. It was in Madisonville at 10 so we had to be ready really early. It was really fun though because I got to hang out with my grandmother and aunt that I don’t get to see too often. We had a good time on the drive. And the shower was very nice as well. So when I got home I was WIPED OUT! I started having braxton hicks pretty bad to the point that I occassionally questioned whether it was real labor or not. I was hoping not since my parents are on vacation until Wednesday. Anyway, so I stayed home from church Sunday so that I could rest up because I was helping out with a baby shower for Rachel that evening.

The shower was alot of fun, hot, but fun. Us poor preggo’s, we just stay so hot all the time 😦 I’m sure it wasn’t hot for everyone but it seems like my body temperature has been raised since the second I got pregnant. I am looking forward to regaining normal body temps soon.

It was fun to see old friends at the shower and there was even a midwife there that is a friend of Rachel’s and she let me listen to the little heartbeat of my baby and then she felt around on my belly and said that she was ready to come out already 🙂 She said wait another week and then we’ll see 🙂 Oh that was music to my ears. I hope when I go to the dr on Thursday that she says the same thing. I would love to have my little one here with me in 2 weeks or so.

Anyway so that was my weekend. The great part is that I have slept back in the bed for 3 nights now and I have gotten great sleep. It has been so wonderful, I don’t know what I changed, but it has been heavenly.

Well back to the grind today. We installed the car seat base into the car so we are ready whenever the time comes. I am so excited that we are almost to the “less than 30 days stage”. It is so close!!!!!!!

Well off to bed for me hopefully for another great and comfy nights sleep 🙂

We finally got our bedding today 🙂 It is soooooo cute and it was a blessing to us. We thought we were going to have to go out and buy it ourselves but someone called and said they wanted to buy it for us, which was such a blessing because it was sort of expensive. So it came in the mail today and I have it on the crib….oh it is so cute. I took some pics but they don’t really do it justice. You’ll just have to come see it for yourself 😉

Well they didn’t check me, very disappointed, so I will have to go another week without knowing if I have even dialated a teeny weenie bit. So we have one week to make some progress 🙂 I hope hope hope they have good news for me when I go next week. Everything looked good like normal. So, one more week to go till the funness begins.

I did get a new haircut today…..very short and easy to manage. I like it, but want it to grow out just a little and then I will really like it, its a little on the too short side, but that’s ok, it just means I can go longer without having to get it cut again!!!

Hoobie had a Chik-fil-A sandwich today. I got home and put my bag of a half eaten sandwhich on the chair and went to use the restroom and came out to find the bag on the ground with Hoobie beside it. He had bitten through the bag and the paper around the sandwhich and pulled the chicken off and was devouring it. He looked so guilty and started curling into a ball when he saw me. At least I wasn’t hungry anymore!

Last night was our fourth Lamaze class. Its so funny because every week all of us preggos only get bigger and bigger and there are more and more sighs and wiggling around to get comfortable. We watched a video on epidurals and learned about our pain medication options. It was pretty cool and informative, although I am still focused on going all-natural.

Before class we swung by to see Meredith and her new son. He was so cute and I got to hold him. It was funny because I had to hold him so high up so he basically was setting on my stomach. And our little one started moving all around. I guess they have already become friends 🙂

I slept on the couch again for the third night in a row. I have officially reached the completely uncomfortable stage of my pregnancy. I actually started out in the bed last night, but by 12:30 I had to get up. Only 5 more weeks and then I pray I will slowly attain comfortableness again.

Tomorrow is my first weekly doctors appointment, and last night I was at class and like every single woman is already dialating, except me. At least I don’t know yet, but I doubt it. One couple even had there baby already. I pray pray pray that my doctor gives me hope for an early arrival. My stomach is so hard that it just hurts and aches. yuck.
