The answer was snowing, sowing, swing, sing, sin, in, i

Way to go Jessica on the quick solve.

So your clue for baby A is 1 I 🙂

The way this relates is that the first trip I ever went with BJ’s family was to Colorado. It was the Christmas before we got married. We went skiing and it was so much fun. I stayed with his mom in a room and she told me that I sneezed more than any other person she knew. Lol… The bummer part was that we took a Tahoe down there with his whole family plus me…which isn’t that many people, but BJ and Britton are both tall plus we had all our luggage so finding a comfy spot to rest on the drive up and down was pretty tricky. We made great memories though. We made snow angels, convinced his mom to eat Chinese, and skiied our hearts out 🙂

Hey Hey hey…its me again 🙂

I am going to start a sidebar with people’s guesses on the babies names…so submit your guesses. there will be no confirmations though until the end!

Comment Moderating

Ok…due to the mass amount of info found on Google we have decided to not post all of the comments until the end of the day so everyone that checks the blog feels like they have had a chance to guess 🙂 SO…do not be alarmed…I have all of your comments and they will all be posted this evening or first thing in the morning with the answer 🙂

Here’s another Baby A Clue!!

There is a common English word that is seven letters long. Each time you remove a letter from it, it still remains a common English word – from seven letters right on down to a single letter. What is the original word, and what are the words that it becomes after removing a letter at a time?

The last letter will give you the clue.

Enjoy!

Day 5

hello hello…

its me, the captive being held hostage at the hospital 🙂 The nurses always joke with me because I don’t wear the hospital gowns and so I don’t look like a patient. So when I go on walks in the hospital they always warn me to come back. I’m one of the only mom’s on my wing that can even leave their room so I am thankful for that. Most of them are on strict bed rest for one reason or another.

So I can’t believe I’ve already been here for 5 full days. They keep me pretty busy. Seriously. My morning starts at 6:30 every morning and then is filled with a series of doctor visits, nurse visits, then then bring my food, then they clean my room and then monitoring. By 12 I am pooped! They do bring me entirely too much food in this place. I am never finished with my first tray before they are bringing me another one! Most of it is relatively good though, so at least I’m not being loaded up with gross stuff. One of my night nurses must have it out for me to gain as much weight as possible because every night she works she always brings me an ice cream at 12am. She says its just to keep me happy…lol. I laugh at her and tell her I’m going to get nice and fat if she keeps it up.

I got my blood tests back and my thyroid is fine and my heart rate is just being classified as pregnancy induced tachycardia. They are just monitoring it and making sure it doesn’t get severely elevated. But the last day or so, it has been lower so that is a relief. I did fail my hemoglobin tests (as well as another one, can’t remember the name of it) and therefore am anemic and am now on iron. As well I am having some KILLER indigestion. Wow, I feel like my esophagus is literally on fire. The stuff they gave me for that I almost puked up it was so gross, but it seems to be helping.

Hayden and BJ got to come up this weekend and have a sleepover. It was so fun to get to see them and spend time with them. I painted Hayden’s fingernails and toenails, which she loves, and we watched Shrek and played Princess Memory. Hayden slept with me in my bed and she was a cuddler to the max. She could not sleep unless her leg was over me somehow. I loved it. It was so hard to see them go. I think it was harder this time then it was initially. Hayden kept saying, Mommy come to my house. and when I’d say I couldn’t, she would say PLEAAAAAASSSSSSEEEEE. Breaks my heart.

I want to be there so bad, but this is what is best for our babies right now. I can’t wait to look back on it instead of live it. BJ has really picked up the slack and is doing a great job being Mr. Mom and Dad while still maintaining work and even squeezing in a guys night 🙂 I’m sure we will both learn so many new things through this experience and be better people and parents in the long run.

oh one last thing before I hit the sack…for all you ladies out there. If you have gotten the new Mary Kay catalogue, you must check out the quad eye shadows. They are so great. I have tried both of them and love them so much. They are great colors for any person and can be dressed up or down. If you haven’t gotten the catalogue yet, you can look at it online at my website www.marykay.com/lindsaymunson. Just let me know if you want anything or place an order through my site and I will get it filled for you.

Well I need to hit the sack….night night 🙂

E, E you got your E you got your E

You guys are good!!

We can’t stump you one bit! The paragraph has no letter E which is the most common letter of the alphabet. Way to go Karly!

So that gives you 3 E’s!!

CLUE #2

This is an unusual paragraph. I’m curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out!

The answer will reveal 2 letters in the name of Baby A and one letter for Baby B. Good luck!!

~Sorry, this clue has nothing to do with us…couldn’t think of anything to tie it to our lives 🙂

This video is really cute and funny! I’m sure all of you parents out there can identify with it.

Day 3-

Your baby now weighs a little less than 2 pounds and measures about 14 inches. Her weight will more than triple between now and birth as she rapidly puts on baby fat. She’ll need that fat to help adjust to colder temperatures outside the womb and as a source of energy and calories in the first days of life. It’s not uncommon for newborns, especially those who are breastfed, to lose weight (sometimes as much as 10 percent of their birth weight) in the first week after birth.

Today I am so tired. My late monitoring doesn’t start until 10:30 and can sometimes take almost 2 hours to finish. So I have been so tired today. The doctors start coming in at 6 in the morning so its starting to wear me out. Today I had to have some blood work done to check some levels in my thyroid as well as have an EKG done on my heart. My heart rate has been extremely elevated and they are watching it closely. The good thing is even though my EKG showed that my heart rate was tachicardic my oxygen saturation in my blood is good. So that is good news. Just pray that it goes down and doesn’t need further treatment.

The babies have been having good readings on the monitors when we can actually get them to be still long enough to monitor them. They say once they get a few weeks bigger it should start becoming easier. I sure hope so because they are quite exhausting and sometimes leave my tummy sore from having to roll the things on me for so long.

The neonatoligist is coming to meet with me today to give me a refresher on what to expect if the babies are born at different stages, and kind of what the scoop is with neo down here at this hospital. I’m glad to get to talk with them.

I had several visitors yesterday and that kept me busy too. Some people have called that want to come but are battling sickness…so I just wanted to make a public announcement that if you are sick…stay away!!! 🙂 I hope you all feel better soon…seems like i have had 3-4 people tell me that they are all sick. Get well soon!

We will be trying to get a new clue up by the end of today so stay tuned. Oh and also bj wanted me to clear up in the last post that he didn’t just randomly fall out of the chair…he was overly exhausted from the buildup of me leaving and for staying up late the night before helping me and then waking up so early that morning. Even still…it was quite hilarious! I wish I had my camera with me that day 🙂
