BABY A CLUE

What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment but never once in a thousand years???

This will give you a one clue for baby a 🙂

Day 20

Wow…writing that number seems so weird. I feel like I have been here an eternity. I am almost to my halfway mark on my hospital stay! I have 29 days to go. Today my doctors were supposed to have a meeting and schedule my C-section and put it in the surgery book. So I still asked for November 13, which will put me a few days over 32 weeks, so hopefully I will have a definite day in the next couple of days. They wanted to give me something definite to look forward to.

I had an ultrasound Sunday and both babies are now head down, which neither have been this entire pregnancy. Hayden was head down the whole time. So maybe that means my body is telling them its nearly the end. My stomach is oh so heavy feeling and the kicks are getting harder and harder. My whole stomach lurches now when both babies are awake. 🙂

I have another ultrasound on Wednesday and they will be measuring and weighing the babies, so I am anxious to see how big they have gotten. They have been doing so well. A few decels here and there, but nothing that is getting into a pattern, so that is good.

For those of you who are praying, I have a specific need for sleep. Since I am being monitored now every 4 hours for one hour, minimum, I am getting little to no sleep. I can get no more than 2 hours at a time so it has been very hard on my poor tired little body. So please pray that God will multiply my hours as I get them and allow me to stay refreshed and healthy.

I’ll be posting a new baby clue tomorrow 🙂 don’t forget that we are giving you the letters to the first and middle names…..so guess away!!

Two Y’s it is

BJ and I went to Disney World for our first anniversary. We had so much fun. We drove there and went to all the parks, ate good food and had a really nice time. We can’t wait to take all of our girls there one day!!

Clue

Where are two opposite places where all your dreams can come true?

The 6th letter will give you a two letter clue for Baby B.

Uncle Jared

Today is Britton’s 21st birthday, so last night BJ’s family went out to eat to celebrate. They knew it would be a late night so BJ called his best friend Jared to come over to the house and watch Hayden. He has never watched her before but she loves him to death and we knew it would go fine. Jared was really excited but told BJ he had never changed a diaper before. So Bj told Jared that Hayden is a very easy child to watch and he showed him how to change her and gave him instructions. So, off BJ goes…….

well, Hayden did great. Right up until the point that she projectile vomited about 6 feet in front of her. So Jared picks her up and is on his way to the bathroom when she throws up THREE MORE TIMES! Now all you moms know that its one thing when a baby barfs on you, but its another thing when a toddler does it. Its real. Its disgusting. And its 100 times worse when its not your child. I felt so bad for him, but he had it under control. He said he was covered in barf from head to toe and so was she.

The cutest part of the story is after the third time he finally got her to the bathroom and started getting the tub ready. So he opened the toilet lid and told her if she felt sick again to throw up in there….and she did. And when she was done she looked at him and said…”Jared, I’m done. I feel better now.” So precious.

So big props to Uncle Jared for being initiated into the babysitter club. You get a gold medal for keeping your cool and not throwing up as well 🙂

28 weeks!!! WHAHOO!!!!

By this week, your baby weighs a little over 2 pounds and measures almost 15 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can open and close her eyes, which now sport lashes. This movement is more of a reflexive blink than a deliberate opening and closing, but it won’t be long before she’s batting those beauties at you.

Ok..we made it to my goal so lets go for another one!! 30 weeks here we come!!!!

***PS…we found out that the scale I weighed on wasn’t accurate because it was pushed up against the wall, so I actually have not lost any weight, I weighed exactly the same as I did the day I came in, so no gain, no loss. 🙂 That made me feel better!

Best news in a long time!!!

Day 16

Today we got news that it looks like our insurance is going to pay for everything in regards to my hospital stay. We have been believing for this and trusting that whatever the outcome that God was going to take care of us. And He has once again. We are so thankful and excited about this. Thanks for everyone that has been praying with us on this. We are just believing that now everything flows very easily with no kinks.

While I’m posting I’ll give a quick update. My blood sugars have been coming out great. I’m always under my limit so the diet is working. The babies are doing well. We had another big decel today and I had to get on oxygen for a little while, but the heartrate came back up and stayed up so that was good.

My stomach is getting so so heavy and miserable to walk around for too long. But I try to take little walks to keep my legs from turning to jelly.

Anyway…that is pretty much it 🙂

And the answer is……..

Sorry…this clue doesn’t relate either 😦 But yeah…you get three R’s!

Hayden visits mommy 🙂

This is a picture from this weekend when Hayden and BJ and his parents came and visited me for Hayden’s birthday. We had a pizza party and it was so fun to see her and let her know that I am still alive!

Then my wonderful husband surprised me last night and just showed up to hang out for the evening. I really needed that! Tara also stopped by to see me and we got to catch up.

Clues clues clues

Rob Thomas had a hit song that was featured on a Disney soundtrack. This soundtrack cover holds the key to your clue for this week. There are three of them. One for Baby A and two for Baby B 🙂
