This is my norm

Well Bj is feeling a little better today. He hasn’t thrown up anymore, so that is a relief. But he stayed in from school today. He slept in the guest room last night since he was sick and I don’t want to get sick since I am pregnant, and can’t take alot of medications. So poor Hoobie was so confused. He layed with BJ for a while then he came in and layed with me, then he just layed on the floor in between the two rooms. 🙂 He ended up sleeping with BJ most of the night. The bed is lower in there and easier for him to jump onto. Our bed has two mattresses and a box spring, so its pretty hard for him to jump on, especially in the dark!

I am working on my defensive driving online. YUCK!! I still have 125 minutes left. Its taking forever! Then tomorrow we are going home because I have to shoot pictures of Lacey before her wedding and all that fun stuff for my photo story. I’m hoping they come out good, because I am coming down to the wire on the project. It is due next Friday, developed, printed and mounted!!!! That’s alot of work for me this week.

Well Back to defensive driving 😦 Why oh why did I get that ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must say I am saddened that one of my favorite shows, Newlyweds, has come to an end after tonights episode. I have watched it for two years….the two years of my own newlywed bliss and yet, it is ending. Not my newlywed bliss, just the show. I guess I am not technically a newlywed anymore once I become a parent, I am just a parent and wife. So I will enjoy these last 5 1/2 months of newlywedness.

Bj is very sick. I came home from work to a sick sick husband. I think he has the stomach flu. I feel so bad for him. He has never been this sick since I have known him. I have never seen or heard him having to throw up at all. And boy is he sick. He may have to go to the doctor tomorrow if it is lingering. Please pray for him to feel better soon. He does not have time to be sick like this so close to finals.

Well I must go tend to my invilid. Poor thing!

My sweet friends are throwing us a shower in two weeks so because of that yesterday I registered for baby stuff at BabysRus! It was so fun to look at all the baby things and think about what our nursery will look like one day!! We are so excited. I can’t wait to know what we are having so that I can register for the girly/masculine items like bedding and decor.

Easter was nice…different, because we weren’t at Granny’s for lunch. Boy I sure missed that potato salad and deviled eggs. But it was nice to spend time just the two of us. Because from here till graduation, its going to be a whirlwind. I can’t believe how fast it is coming around the corner, which means the dreaded finals are too. Yuck!! Why must we have finals. They are such a downer amidst all your end of the semester excitement. Oh well….life isn’t perfect.

Wow, I can’t believe here I am 13 weeks pregnant. That is almost halfway finished!!! 7 more weeks until the halfway point and until graduation!!!!!!!! That is amazing. Though this semester has seemed very long. I am just having a very bad case of senioritis.

Well today, though it is a holiday, I am working. The good thing was that we had steak and shrimp and veggies and salad and banana pudding (with no bananas on one side for me and Gwynn). I’ll come to work any day for steaks!! Yum Yum!! Oh and baked potatos too. So now I am waiting. Just waiting to do a run or go home. 🙂

Tomorrow I am going to register for some gender neutral basic items for the baby. My friends are throwing me a shower in about 3 weeks so that is going to be so fun. I am excited. Then I am babysitting tomorrow evening. Gotta get as much practice in as possible 🙂

Jared is here for the weekend, and I know BJ enjoys that. THey have been playing basketball in the driveway all morning. Last night me and Bj went out to shoot some hoops and it was getting dark and so the light was really playing tricks on my eyes. Well we had the goal down low so I could “dunk” and I shot it and it bounced off the rim really hard and smacked me in the lip. Hurt like crazy, but it was more hilarious than anything. So today my lip is a little puffy inside but nothing major.

I hope everyone enjoys their Easter holiday. Next year we’ll have a brand new hunter for the easter egg hunt!!

Two more days off school!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though I am loving the time off I don’t think it is good for my blues. It just makes me want to be out even more 🙂

School’s out for the weekend and Monday too!!! yahhhooooo!!!!!!!!!

I got the blues….the back to school blues that is….it is so sad to come off of a wonderous week of fun and family and go back to SCHOOL! Its getting very hard to stay motivated. I hate it. I want it to be over with! Yesterday I had a test. Yuck. Hopefully I did good. Most of my classes I have pretty wrapped up, so it would take a huge bombing of something to make me not pass or something. The sad thing is I don’t even care what my GPA is I just want to get out. The good thing is I have a’s and b’s in every class so far, so I shouldn’t have any worries. I JUST WANT OUT!!!!!!!!

Last night we went to Melissa and Cary’s baby shower. It was a lot of fun and they got some cute stuff. I can’t believe their baby is almost here, and yet, it seems like yesterday that they told us they were pregnant. I hope our pregnancy passes that quickly. I love being pregnant, but I hate the waiting. I just want to play with the baby!!!!

Jared is coming to stay with us tonight until Saturday so that should be fun for BJ. I on the other hand am going to scout out the local baby registering spots for my upcoming shower in April. So exciting!!!

Well I must depart and prepare for another day at the dreaded school 😦

Well this was a great week. It was so busy and had so many different things going on but it was a pretty good week.

We arrived on Tuesday to look at a house that we had wanted to rent, but we couldn’t see it that day. So we got to BJ’s parents’ house to discover that his great grandmother was doing very bad and we all needed to go up and see her. So we did and it was very sad to have to see her in such a terrible state. She was talking alot though and was very aware of everyone so that was good. We thought that she may not make it through the night, but the next day she bounced back and was doing well again. I know that she is in God’s hands and he is going to allow her to live the rest of her life out peacefully and I pray without sickness.

Wednesday we got to go to the doctor to meet the assistant. She was great and I really liked her. I had gained a whole 2 1/2lbs since my first visit at 7 weeks, which is very normal so that was good to know that everything was on track and expanding.

Then we got to go look at the house. WE LOVED IT. It was perfect and we immediately filled out the lease papers and hoped that the lease would go through even though we didn’t want it for two months. That night we hung out with an old friend and his new wife at their new place. It was so fun to hang out with them and get to know them a little better. We ate homemade salsa at their place and then went out to dinner at this place called Fajita Jacks. It was pretty cool. They had mariachie’s and everything. BUT, the mariachi’s were very americanized. They wanted to sing more american songs then old classic spanish songs. It was hilarious. One guy was dressed up like Elvis and danced all around like him too. So funny!! Then we went back to the house and played Balderdash in which I made up a new word accidentally “Redorkish” ?? I just said it trying to combine, retarded, dorky and ridiculous. It was funny.

Then thursday I went down to my aunt’s house and did two MK facials. I have been doing a bunch this week and getting better at knowing about my products.

Friday we got the bummer news that someone else offered to rent the house this week instead of waiting, so we didn’t get it . Big bummer, but God has something better out their for us. Then we went shopping all day and throughout the day I realized that my stomach was starting to hang out of my t-shirt. How embarrassing…so we went to Ross and I got a maternity outfit. The pants are really cute, khaki capris and then a three quarter sleeved dress shirt. I felt so comfy in them. I am officially out of all normal fitting shirts and pants….time to bump it up a size. This baby is growing 🙂 That night we went to Jamie’s 25 bd party . It was great to see old friends and hang out.

Saturday Bj had to go back home, which was sad because he has two tests this week and had to come back for school, meaning he had to miss our first ultrasound . Very sad. I hung out with my mom all day and walked around the new mall area and it was a great girl time. We had a blast. Then the rain Blasted us. It was so cold and we had to walk in it–the water was up to my ankles and it was freezing. Luckily it stopped before it got up above the slab at the house. THat would have been disastrous.

Then Sunday was church and family lunch and then TODAY was here finally!!!! The ultrasound. I can’t even describe how awesome it was to see the little one for the first time. And hear the heartbeat. I loved it. We oooh’ed and ahhhed alot. And there was only one little baby in there!! It must have been sleeping because it didn’t move around until right at the end we were about to wrap up the ultrasound and it kicked its little leg and rolled over and stretched. I freaked out. It was so amazing to see it, much less see it move!!! I’ve got some pictures to put on here later on. And they moved my due date up one day!! Whoo hoo….I’m just glad it wasn’t moved back! So I am due October 1. The day of the race for the cure 🙂

well i am in aw of my baby . I can’t wait to find out what it is and see it again!! Oh, and I gained another pound!! 3 total so far!!!

11 Weeks today!!!! YEAH!! I can’t believe this is the last week of my first trimester. That just amazes me to think that I am almost 1/3 of the way finished. Whoo hoooooo!!! I can’t wait.

Today we helped some of our friends move and I am pooped. We have been working since 9:30, well I have, the others were working since 8. I hate moving….its so much work…and it made me dread my upcoming move. The only good thing about moving that I LOVE is that you get to clean out everything, re-organize, and get rid of junk that you don’t need. Plus I will be moving back home this move so that is a good thing. But sad to leave our home hear that we have set up and our little life and our friends that we love so dearly.

Ahhh….I’m tired. I am cooking lasagna for us and some friends tonight. YUM…lasagna is like my all time favorite meal ever. I love it!! Its my mom’s recipe and its so good. Yum yum…i can’t wait. If I can just get energy up to do it 🙂

Well what a wonderful Saturday it has been . I love saturday’s that feel like saturdays. You know when you get tons of stuff done and you work hard and its just a great feeling. It feels Right. I know it sounds wierd, but its true.

Anyway, I am off to lasagna time!
