Friday Five

Wow! What a week. I feel like I was in my car most of the time going back and forth from all sorts of things that kept me busy, but my life is full and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Here’s five things from my week:

Impacted:

The tornadoes of Oklahoma. So thankful that all of our family is safe and accounted for. Praying for all effected and specifically for those who have lost loved ones.

50 degrees in May

This weather has got to be a record. I recall one summer a few years back that we were in the pool already by now, yet this morning the girls went and got long sleeves, pants, gloves and jackets on. Hoping it continues for a while!

Friday five

1. Took down the Christmas trees yesterday. Yes, I know it is Feb. 8. The girls were so bummed.

2. Finished my first book of the year. Safe Haven. It was really good!

3. Started back at my crossfit gym. Wow. Spent most of the week with sore T-Rex arms. In other news… I found out there is a roller derby team in my area. Whattttt?!?! It’s only the #1 thing on my bucket list!

4. Went to Trader Joe’s. Ah! I love that place. What are some of your favorite things to get at t.j?

Friday Five

Today is Friday and I would like to wish you a lovely weekend.

I leave you with these five things:

1. 5 lovely bracelets for the Friday arm party . 

2. Going to see a movie with my hubby right after work today. I’m glad I married someone who loves movies as much as I do. 
3. Tomorrow I am going to bring the pain upon myself during a 12 minute amrap Crossfit Team Challenge with my Mom. That is probably one sentence I never thought would come out of my mouth. We are excited and hoping to beat my dad and brother. Will update on Monday.
4. Today my friend Holly is getting a huge miracle and moving to TIRR which is a fabulous rehab facility with neuro rehab. This is a huge answer to prayers. 
5. Trying out the new True Dimension Lipsticks that just launched . This one is Wild about Pink. I really like the feel of it. Also, documenting my hair grow out.  Day 44.

Good Morning, Friday!

Oh I am so glad it is Friday. I finally feel like I am starting to feel a little better. We have no plans for this weekend except BJ has his first show with his band, Pilgrim Hope on Saturday night. This week has been such a drag. I HATE being sick. Luckily I haven’t had anything pressing to plan or schedule, but I really needed this week to get ahead on some stuff. No such luck. We have managed to watch many movies in my bed and read lots of stories ….kept it pretty low-keyed. The twirls are really loving books. If you sit down on the ground they will both start looking for either books or shoes and then rush to your lap to read or for you to put their shoes on.
