Just some things

1. The sun has arrived! I am enjoying this brief window of time where I can stand outside without breaking a sweat.

2. The pollen has blown through and gone bye bye! Thankfully, because when it blew in, it took Hayden down hard-core. Poor thing was doing breathing treatments again after nearly a year of not having to do them. The positive was that she didn’t mind them as much and wasn’t AS affected by the steroid in it.

3. I went to see Keith Urban at the rodeo. Before hand I thought it was just going to be a fun night with my pals and the music would be fine I’m sure. Well I was competely blown away at his mad guitar skills. He was amazing. I loved it! I would go see him again ANY day! Very entertaining concert, indeed, and the company of my pals was divine! Especially since we spent nearly 3 1/2 hours in the car (traffic) together.

4. Tomorrow is a big day for my bestest! I couldn’t be happier for her!

5. Our new routine with the new weather is lovely. Playtime, chores until 11:30, eat lunch, babies go down for naps, Hayden and I “lay out” while she digs in the dirt and waters our trees 🙂 My legs are scary-mary white! (Joyelle, cease the snickering!!!)

5. New favorite snack discovery: Mediterranean hummus with roasted pine nuts. Find it in the deli section. Oh YUM!

6.Our neighbors have FINALLY finished their remodel requiring THE LOUDEST machinery on the planet. This has been going on every single day since the hurricane. We are talking, they were cutting tile with saws right next to my bedroom window starting at the CRACK of dawn every day. SOOOOO not enjoyable.

7. For two months the babies have been cutting teeth like nobodys business. My mom kept asking me if they had new teeth and I couldn’t even tell her. They had so many cutting through it was hard to tell, so I did an inventory and the count is Ella-16 and Preslyn-15. That means only one more and we are done for a year or so! HALLELUJAH!!! My children, Hayden included, are the worst teethers ever. They all get sick every time they cut a tooth and are so cranky, don’t sleep through the night, don’t want to eat anything. It’s a nightmare. Oh and did I mention the constant stream of snot that flows from their noses…oh its glorious! Especially since I wear black like 70% of the time…my shoulders look like I wipe MY nose on myself. Gross!

In the mean time go check out my other blog…www.lindentreeboutique.blogspot.com. I just posted a bunch of pictures of stamps that are available in my store!!! They can be personalized with all of your information and even are available in different ink colors!!!

Got nothin’

Sorry guys, the mix of yucky weather (i.e. pollen coating everything in sight outdoors, plus nasty rain bringing chilly temps) plus sick babies has made for no good blog stories lately. Sorry. We’ve been really busy doing all kinds of stuff and trying to get the kiddos well. Hopefully we’ll all be back to normal soon and have some good blogs again.

Here’s a pic of Preslyn and Hayden having a cute moment together.

Introducing….

I have the pleasure of announcing the arrival of little William “Will” Riley Burciaga, born this morning, March 5 at 2:54 a.m. He weighed in at 5lbs. 12oz. and 19 3/4″. He is so tiny and adorable and looks so much like his daddy and Uncle Aaron! I am going to have pictures to post tomorrow.

His parents, Jamie and Billy, asked me to post this news and they will be posting further info on their blog when they arrive home on Saturday. They are all doing well and are enjoying the new addition!

Two Things

I have been wanting to read the Twilight series for some time now. Why didn’t I discover these when I was in the hospital?? Anyway, when the movie came out I bypassed it because I really wanted to read the books first.

My inital thoughts were that I wouldn’t like them. I’m not really into sci-fy stuff to frequently. I mean I’ll watch Lord of the Rings but they get a little old after a while. I like more of the “normal” movies and books. As far as my recent readings, I have not read anything lately that has really caught my interest enought to just blast through it. Anyway, I’ve had the first two sitting on my desk for about a month and I picked one up this past weekend and literally finished Twilight in two days. I stayed up late two nights in a row, paid for it in the morning, but didn’t care, because I found something that I really enjoyed reading. I’m so glad I read it first before seeing the movie. Anyway, I thought it would be this wierd “vampire-ish” book that would be overwhelmingly paranormal, but it was surpisingly a hidden romance and was more “normal” than I expected. Anyway, I’m finishing up the second one now and went out to get the second two so I could start them right away. I really liked these because I think I would actually read them again! Now I want to see the movie when it comes out later this month.
Second thing…..AMERICAN IDOL! I really think Danny Goeke is going to win it. He has a great story and his voice is amazing! Vote vote vote!!

Just in

I just got a new batch of Trumpette stuff in today. One of my favorites, especially since I’m from the great state of Texas, is the adorable cowboy and cowgirl boot socks. These are too cute!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to post that I have both of my carseats that I am going to sell. They are the Galaxy Baby Trend Flex-Loc infant seats. They are both in great shape and were never in any accidents. We purchased them 8/2007. I have the manuals still. If anyone knows of anyone or needs one themselves, please let me know. They are compatible with the stroller that matches them or one of those universal strollers. They both come with the bases as well. These are great carseats!

Valentines Day — Part 2

For valentines this year we kept it pretty low-keyed. We had a pretty full week and weekend so we kept it simple. BJ showered us girls with lovely bouquets of flowers. I hate that I didn’t take a single picture of them, grrrrrr….but they were lovely! He also got me some fab shoes that I have been wanting 🙂 (going against the “lets not get any gifts rule”. We had decided to just hang out and splurge on our diet and order a pizza and watch some tv. So I secretly ordered the heart shaped pizza and when it came BJ opened it and laughed, so I told him, “Don’t say I didn’t buy you anything.” It was pretty corny, but it was fun to just hang out together. February also marks that we have been together now for 9 years! WOW! It has been wonderful and I’m so glad that we are still together and in love 🙂 BJ asked me what I wanted and I told him I had absolutely everything I could ever want. And that’s the truth. I have a wonderful life and family and I couldn’t ask for more.

Ok..enough of the sappy mush…here’s a funny pic for ya

On Valentines Day, we took the twirls with us to breakfast. Hayden stayed the night at her grandparents. It was fun, because we rarely go to restaurants with them. They did so good and flirted with everyone around them.

Congratulations

We want to congratulate Jared and Dannette (BJ’s best friend and his wife) on the birth of their son, August Liam. He was born yesterday just before 3pm. He is so cute and looks so much like his daddy.

We can’t wait to have tons of playdates!
